Those winnings are in PokerStars chips. Not cash. Can't play for real money while residing in AZ or most other states. The World Series of Poker is coming up in Vegas and that's where the real cash tournaments are.

Kinda thought you'd answer something like you did but wasn't sure, I know nothing about Poker but do know they have the big games every year..... Good luck

I started playing real world tournaments at casino's three years ago. Very, very, different. My first tourney I lasted about an hour. The buy in for that one was $250.00. The next one I entered was a buy in of $500 at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. I did a little better, finishing 39th in a field of 270, and winning $1,050.00 What I can tell you is without real world tournament experience, you don't stand a chance in Las Vegas. I am only about $4,500.00 dollars ahead after 16 live tournaments, and I consider myself a decent player. Start playing some tournaments at local casino's with smaller buy-ins and see how you do. Shuffle up and deal!

Shuffle up and deal! I won a $10,000 ticket for the WSOP main event plus 2K for expenses in a series of cheap satellites on Paradise Poker in 2004. Finished 428th which was before the bubble then. 428th is worth about 40K now.
