SAF
I found a very interesting rock that I'd like help learning how it was formed. It appears to be a rock with glacier striations but it also has areas that look like molten rock fell on it and melted leaving a grey/silver deposit. I've never seen anything like it and am hoping someone can shed some light on it for me. Thanks

SAF
Sorry, not sure what the problem might be. I tried the link with two different browsers and my phone and they all work.

d_day
Looks like chemically weathered limestone to me.
SAF
Thanks. So the grey material in the depressions would be the rock that was there but in a new form or something else was deposited in the depressions after the weathering?
