chrisski
Coconino National Forest in Arizona is closing over 38,000 acres of forest to dispersed camping, but opening up a single 38 acre campground to accommodate. This link talks more to this and includes a form letter to send off to oppose this measure: https://www.azbackroads.com/land-use/red-alert-additional-31000-acres-added-to-sedona-camping-closure-81k-acres/?fbclid=IwAR0dohiz4zLCFhxe7jNUFzb87wblGgv2TRSCgMR1QJpM2puB3TG01xaBrwE This closure was not put up for public comment. Not that any opposing comment is ever considered. I’m going to send the letter.
