chrisski
I’m not sure what you did. Was this sending a concentrate through different mesh to get different sizes? Or are you looking for advice on panning? Heres a good video Edited May 13 by chrisski
Jjweimar
I classified to different sizes, don't know if the material looks worth time and I'm bad at panning so all input is welcome
chrisski
Can’t tell if its good until you pan it out. If you have a teaspoon of gold which is hundreds or a couple thousand dollars worth, and mix it in a 5 gallon bucket of dirt, that would be some record rich pay dirt there, but you would not be able to see it with the naked eye. A little bit of practice and you’ll be fine. There’s a lot of different panning techniques but they all are based off the gravity method of shaking the dirt so the heavy stuff goes to the bottom and using the water to take the lighter sands out, and keeping it up until you just got the gold left.
