Idriss
I have found an old kettle recently, and I think the handle contains gold in it or at least mixed with some other metals mainly copper and brass. I tested it with acid and some parts changed color to red copper and some other part remains the same and still have that goldish color. I need your opinion about this images
DarkSilicate
I guess there is always a possibility for gold to be in the mix but, it doesn't make any sense to me at least that someone would include precious metal in making a copper/brass kettle. Only thing I can think of would be if someone was trying to hide the gold in that fashion. Edited January 20 by DarkSilicate

chrisski
8.5 points away from gold. Brass is 8.7. I think it’s brass.
