billpeters
Welcome Jimale, That looks just like the 100 million year old sedimentary rocks that you would find throughout Wajir County, Kenya. billpeters

chrisski
I was looking at google imagery on Wajir County. Very flat. I did not see any washes. There were what looked like dry riverbeds, but the kinds that don't see water for a long, long time. What's nice about Arizona, even though its desert here, there's enough rain that the rocks get exposed and sand washes away down to the bedrock, at least by the mountains. Wajir County looks like true desert, sparsely populated.

With my company's authority. I would love to come to Kenya. Maybe after Covid abates much more across the globe. Kenya is safe and has 14 times less gun violence with a lower murder rate than the US. There is much to see in Kenya and throughout that part of Africa. Thanks for the invite. I'll bring my trusty metal detector. billpeters Edited December 14, 2021 by billpeters
