4meter Posted November 5, 2021 Share Posted November 5, 2021 (edited) Its a vesicular (fancy geo word for hole(s)) Rhyolite (extrusive volcanic rock). The holes were created by escaping gases as the lava cooled, then infilled by Quartz at a later date, creating the small white "pearls" seen in the sample.
