Ray in CA
I rarely coinshoot in the summer because it's just too hot and the ground is too hard here in the valley for it to be any fun for me. Well, after a week of rain the temps are just right and the ground is nice and soft. Today, in a light rain, I popped this beauty out across the street from an old school here in town. Found it in the city easement in front of an old house. I used my trusty 15 year old Minelab Safari. Can't tell you how many silver coins and rings this thing has found for me. It's a silver magnet for sure. Oh, and I got three old wheaties to boot. Not sure of the dates yet, but the Franklin half was a 1951.
