carch_23
Hey guys. Would like some advice on buying meteorites if thats okay. Ive always wanted a larger piece of a lunar/ martian meteorite and all the ones I see are just tiny “specs of dust” sized portions. Though I found this site and it looks pretty legit with some larger fragments for sale: https://www.meteorites-for-sale.com/moon-meteorites.html Have you guys had any experience with this website? Because with fossils, as far as I know theres no “organisation” that authenticates fossils and when acquiring something yiu didnt find yourself, youll just need to rely on your own knowledge on the specimen in question. Though with meteorites, is there an organisation that sort of tests if it is authentic? Just dont want to unknowingly buy a random pebble that was sold to me as a meteorite. Thanks in advance! chrisski
I’d be interested in comments. As I look at the pics, to me it looks like a conglomerate rock, perhaps metamorphic, which to me means from earth, but I’m anxious to hear comments: I have got to be wrong about the conglomerate though. THe person put much to much effort into the website so there has to be something else for him to choose pics like this.
DarkSilicate
If that is Paul Harris and James Tobin's business, I would say they are trustworthy.

Hoping for more replies too.
