DarkSilicate
let's say a large asteroid collides with a small planet with an atmosphere similar to mars. The violent impact sends ejecta hurling out thru the atmosphere out into space. Wouldn't that ejecta form surface features from escaping that atmosphere that are reminiscent of surface features found on meteorites? i.e., fusion crust, regmaglypts, fracturing, etc. Edited June 30, 2021 by DarkSilicate
