Super strange rock, is this a meteorite??

Septarian nodules are not worthless. They are one of the coolest stones you could find.

Lots of them are awesome in short wave light. There are collectors that will pay good money for specimens.

If you want to sell it I would be interested. I'll pay $25 plus shipping if you want to get rid of it.

Thanks so much for the great information, and offer! Unfortunately the owner is not interested in getting rid of it at this price. It is too pretty!

Agree with Bedrock looks to be a septarian. Where there is one there should be more. I would cut it

in half, very cool inside

Agreed, could be  nice crystal pocket inside, or just    a beautiful, polished slab.

You are a wise man. It is a neat rock and a really good find.

I don't know how much they are worth. I see some really nice looking polished specimens on the internet. I don't think they are too uncommon. But some can be worth some money.

If you decide to cut it please show us some photographs. You always wonder what is inside a rock like that. It would be great to see!
