Thomas Hamrick
Hello, I have never seen a rock like this. It is so beautiful, apparently it was found in a crater. What in the world could this be? Help is most appreciated. Thank you!

Thomas Hamrick
Thanks guys. It sure is pretty, does it hold any value outside my own enjoyment of it?

Bedrock Bob
Could be a septarian nodule que no?
BobAK
Agree with Bedrock looks to be a septarian. Where there is one there should be more. I would cut it in half, very cool inside
Bedrock Bob
Septarian nodules are not worthless. They are one of the coolest stones you could find. Lots of them are awesome in short wave light. There are collectors that will pay good money for specimens. If you want to sell it I would be interested. I'll pay $25 plus shipping if you want to get rid of it.

It is too pretty!

I see some really nice looking polished specimens on the internet. I don't think they are too uncommon. But some can be worth some money. If you decide to cut it please show us some photographs. You always wonder what is inside a rock like that. It would be great to see!
