Is anybody using a power bank for battery backup?

Recommended Posts

I got to thinking about the 12 hour run time of the Equinox and the probability that I’ll be off the grid at times for 2-3 days in the summer.....up the proverbial creek so to speak.... any recommendations on quality chargers?

Harbor freight has a pretty neat power source with a solar panel. I don't know how fast the solar will recharge the main battery. I think you can toggle it into your vehicle battery and charge either way.

I was looking at them a few days ago. I think they were about $65 bucks.

I just got this for my NOX 800. I plan on using it while out in the woods gold prospecting. You would connect it to your NOX using the magnetic charging cable. It will double your battery life.

I use a regular lithium charger originally designed for phones and tablets, but I can see the benefits of having one that is attached if needed while using the detector- especially if you forgot to charge it the night before!  How many amp/hours capacity are those?
