Jasperfinder
Found in some gravel used to pave the garden, I was looking for bits of red jasper when this caught my eye. It appears to be a reddish brown in the center of a thin light tan outer shell. It’s in a funny oblong clamshell shape. I thought maybe it was a seed? But it’s very hard, I couldn’t scratch either side with a knife.
Morlock
Looks like a waterworn rock of some type. Not a geode or a fossil. You can always find rocks that resemble something...a mimetolith.
