Yeah Dave, cats do help but chickens and guinea fowl are a better deterrent.  I never had any around here while the chickens roamed the area.  After I got rid of the chickens the inscorpticets came in like cockroaches which they love to eat.

Here is a little experiment with resin.

I'm trying to simulate a bug in amber.

The color came out darker on the deeper pour but I like these little cabochons. I think I will use a few more drops of dye and pour a couple more a little darker.

The black light still works great on them even after they are dried and cast in resin. The rascals light right up!
