Desertpilot
Neat, I see the some of the green and black ones down here in southern Arizona gold locations as well. Thanks for sharing.
Bedrock Bob
I'm rolling my eyes at that chunk of jasper/rhyolite in the lower pic. Pink with the swirl patterns. That is pretty stuff. I find a lot of similar stuff near Rincon. It looks too soft to polish up but it makes some really sweet tumbled stones. Do you think that one would take a polish? How big is it? How big is it? If you want to work it and post the results on the forum, you can have it. A craftsman could probably turn it into a nice paperweight or algo. It's 3" x 1.5" x 1"
Bedrock Bob
I am not sure I could do much with it. It is a little too big for my large tumbler. It sure has a nice pattern though. I know I have a few smaller ones tumbled that are really close to the same stuff. If I get the chance I will post a photo of them.
BMc
The overall depiction especially the swirls, resemble large waves. You can envision the highest wave cresting right over the surfer's shoulder . . . Let me know if you change your mind.
