Punzellies
Here’s a fossil that I was gifted as a kid from an old pen pal. It used to be white and pretty but I put it in dirt as a kid so now it’s yellow. Still neat though. Not sure what it is.
d_day
Looks like a piece of a sand dollar.
d_day
Can’t tell species, but they all look similar.
Punzellies
Oh cool! I’d been told it was a fossil but that’s cool! Thanks
Guest
No sense of scale from the pic... how large is the sandollar fragment? In future pics, throw a quarter in.

In future pics, throw a quarter in. Take it easy Big Guy. It's just a shard of sanddollar. The exact size is unimportant. Just imagine a quarter next to it. You will probably be in the ballpark. If not then imagine your surprise at how big (or small) it really is.
Guest
That's my mantra," throw a quarter in it". Perspective is everything.
