Gold Electrum In Calcite Specimen

I have a gold electrum in calcite specimen for sale. Specimen weighs a total of 3.3 ounces and contains 1.03 ounces of gold electrum. Electrum goes all through this.

By the way, a friend of mine took these pictures as all I have is a four year old smartphone. 

The actual color of the calcite is a little lighter then the pictures.

No sir. Went back to the mining a year ago next month.

Is that a speci you found out this direction?

This was found in the San Juan mountains not far from Ouray, Colorado.

Rather then put this up for bid on eBay, I'm going to have a reverse auction. I'd like to avoid the eBay fees.

I'm going to lower the price by $50.00 a week until sold. I estimate the gold content is 14kt or 56.6% based on acid tests. It's quite hefty.

 It's really a nice specimen and hate to part with it. With the price of gold going up, this could be a nice investment.
