Diggingd
Figured I'd share one of my favorite pieces with all you guys it's a fist sized chunk of flourite with huge calcite crystal growing off it about 3" , but the one thing the always amazes me about this piece is it literally has everything flourite can offer in an amazingly beautiful piece. I will get more pictures tonight with a light under it to show it off some more ;), also side note all the black specs inside of the flourite are flouresent green under short wave black light if anyone could help me figure out what it is would be appreciated 👍 1

Diggingd
I do not know the origins of the piece I actually received it as a trade for electrical work from a friend.

wet/dry washer
Diggingd, what area is BLM giving you problems. just list the county.
Diggingd
I haven't had any problems with BLM officials at all, I just always watch the posted signs at the hiking areas I check out for potential rock hounding and most of them have signs that say no rock collecting the areas I mainly go to are in octillo and around julian. Diggingd
My bad on the light background photos, my flashlight died and been lazy to get a replacement, but just for fun was curious what you guys would value this piece at, I've never had it appraised so this is just more for fun than anything else. My guess would be at least in the $80-100 range

Those triangles actually form a pyramid inside the piece that with light under the piece you can see it a lot more clearly!
