fuss
I found this at West Moreland state park in VA on the beach. It is a supposed location to find a variety of fossils including Megladon teeth. I found this lump of chert, that to me resembles a possible whale vertebrae. It is almost fist size. They said in the visitor lobby that whale bones can be found there and some on display. I am not very good with fossil id's. Any opinions? Thx.
