azdigger
Well , I took my dry washer to Gold Basin, got there was over cast Colder than I thought it was going to be. I set the dry washer up , started feeding it , lasted about 10 min...too cold for me , fast clean out put it in a bucket and came home....paned it out in my kitchen...in the warmth I might add. Was a couple of flake of gold in the pan....not much but more than I have found with my detectors....Happy wit the Thompson Dry Washer...Now if it will dry out and warm up some.
adam
Did you check the cloth for holes? You should have found more than a couple flakes for driving so far
azdigger
only dug a few min. , was too cold for me I was not dressed properly for the weather. For what I dug , I was pleased...I enjoyed getting out. Now waiting for it to dry up and get a little warmer , plus I will take extra clothes next time.
boulder dash
Seems the wrong time of the year for drywashing. Learning is fun..

azdigger
I agree about the wrong time of the year , but as with any new "toy" ya just got to play a little. When it drys out and warms up some , I will dress for the weather and go again.
