Need help identifying

Recommended Posts

Looks like green glass inside a stone log.  Found in the desert near Douglas Az.  Friends have suggested: geode, meteorite, or obsidian.  The piece was 18 inches long and about 7 inches around (until it got cut in half). The outside looks like it has been rolled in the native kalechi clay with large rocks inbedded in it. It has a hole in both ends that appears to have went straight through it. The photos dont show how green the glass like substance is on the inside.  Near the outer hole, the green is mixed with brown (the color of the local clay) in a swirl.  It may be nothing but it sure is interesting to look 88th at it and guess.  Thanks for any help you can offer.
