Where the heck is La Paz actually

When I hear La paz , I just think of the area in general surrounding the La Paz Placers, or La Paz Arroyo. I do believe there was a town of La Paz somewhere near the Colorado river.  It is one of the most peaceful places to detect in the summer months.

I knew one of the partners who was working the Goodman Mine when Bush turned it back over to the tribe. Their claims were supposed to be grandfathered in but they lost them -- supposedly for a paperwork error. There were 3 partners who only worked the winter months and they were getting an ounce a day. One guy worked a backhoe, one worked the sluice and the 3rd used a septic tank truck to move the muck from the settling pond to brick molds.

Now that's what I always remember about La Paz.  You don't want to detect around there, you'll get a bow and arrow  in your booty.

Good luck out there at Middle Camp, Bill.
