Does it give lots of pictures inside?  What Amazon lets you look at is nice, but the pages it lets you view has no pictures in it.

It has 15 pages of High quality pictures.  The gems of this book are in the text.  It is geared toward mineral collectors, with very minimal reference to gold & meteorites.

The locations may or may not be open to collecting. The reader will have to figure that out.

That's 1 I haven't seen, I just acquired a brand new copy lookin forward to seeing  it.

I ran into Les Presmyk at the Prescott Gem & Mineral Show the other day ( He was a contributor to the book mentioned above ).

He said that there was another edition to Mineralogy of Arizona currently being worked on by Ray Grant.  This will be something to look forward to !
