Would it be reasonable to start charging a small fee, say, .25 cents for each Rock or non-met/wrong met that gets posted for ID and validation? Especially for those specimens that so obviously don't even come close? Our usual panel of met experts could review the specimen photo(s) and render a decision. At the current rate of submission, shouldn't we be able to fund the next outing, and have plenty money left over for a sizable beer fund?

Just a thought . . . :)
