Weekend Exploration ....Pays Off

Recommended Posts

Despite forecasts of bad weather , boulder dash and I squeezed in a hunt last weekend.

No ferrite rings, funky harness systems, GPS`s, Spot messenger`s, pin pointer`s,  or guns involved. Just a traditional hunt, with interchangeable coils, and light weight old technology.

High benches with cemented gravels have gold.....Boulder dash proves that here :yesss:

A nice 2 + grammer  shown here stuck in those ancient rocks...:head:

It was a chilly weekend  with a brief clear nightscape.....

The goodies !  :head::yesss:

Over 22 grams of  fine gold nuggets were found ....  Enjoy !

 Please give a thumbs up , as i`m in much need of some forum recognition :D

That's just badass.  Thanks for sharing the gold finding technique.  Helps us all keep a more open mind when hunting.  Makes me wonder how many nuggets I have walked right past that were literally within feet of my face. :tisk-tisk:

I gave you 24 sets of thumbs ups, 22 for the 22 grams and 2 extra to hold you over!

Great photos I love the one of the catus, and the gold, rusty spur and buckle photo ain't all that bad either!

As usual ya'll did a great job of not leaving any gold for anyone else!! :ROFL:

Hey adam,...  Nice looking gold there.  Out of curiosity???  Considering you found all this gold up on the bank, or on that slanted-bench, have you considered digging down and following the bedrock down into the wash as it sinks out of sight????  Based on your first photo, I'd be kind of curious as to what the bedrock looks like just below where you found those nuggets.

Ya gona have to get Tom's NASA approved PVC micro detector handle in there to hunt the banks. too bad it doesn't come with knee pads.
I have to say Adam and Boulder Dash that's how it's done. Great photo's. looking at the geology there is driving me crazy. great post.
