Very nice! what vlf was he using, if you don't mind saying?

Thats the GM1000 Boulder dash is using in the photo.  So, I guess there`s some modern tech involved ...

Out of curiosity???  Considering you found all this gold up on the bank, or on that slanted-bench

One nugget was found in that high bench pictured. Its the smooth rounded one in the picture.

Despite forecasts of bad weather , boulder dash and I squeezed in a hunt last weekend.

No ferrite rings, funky harness systems, GPS`s, Spot messenger`s, pin pointer`s,  or guns involved. Just a traditional hunt, with interchangeable coils, and light weight old technology.

High benches with cemented gravels have gold.....Boulder dash proves that here :yesss:

A nice 2 + grammer  shown here stuck in those ancient rocks...:head:

It was a chilly weekend  with a brief clear nightscape.....

The goodies !  :head::yesss:

Over 22 grams of  fine gold nuggets were found ....  Enjoy !

You guys should consider adding a generator and a small jackhammer to your repertoire of tools.

Found the 2.5 gram bench piece with a gp 3000.  Have 3 blisters from wacking at the hard pack.  Was a nice weekend except for the cold and rain. We had a killer fire 2 nights in a row.

Fire?

Isn't that a modern invention?

Good catch Bob, it was just below the source, in a very short , steep ravine.

Adam I've been at this a long time. I look for every clue to try and figure out where the gold came from or why its where it is. It's helped me find more gold. but I have to say you are doing very well. want to share some of your secrets. AzNuggetBob

One can almost visualize this nugget being formed atom by atom as the mineralized waters seep into the pocket.  Very sweet nuggie.

Mike this thread is not about me. to be clear, I wasn't there when he found these nuggets. but I may put up a new photo of me on one of my threads or maybe in my avatar.

I agree about that nugget. I can just invison the gold rich pregnant solutions dripping off of it as they peculate through the rock and line up and bond to form their crystalline structures into a nugget.
That is a very nice nugget! Adam/BD.

Not to highjack this thread but how do you account for two types of crystallization in one specimen?

I agree about LSD. Its been good to me but has sent me home skunked and frustrated more than once.

Hope you dont mind Adam-BD

Easy Morlock
Two different crystallizing elements within the same solution.
And No I'm not going to tell you what those elements are.
