Here's what I found.....    :idunno:

Still had a great time for a quick, one day trip out to the LSD.

There were some finds made.

Maybe the finders will post?

I detected all day Friday got to camp at 1am said hi to a few people in the morning. Detected with some friends most of the day Saturday and started for home when dinner was served. Total weight was just shy of 4 grams. The second nugget down was found by my friends using my detector for the first time about 15 minutes after he started swinging. He is hooked now...

It may not look it but it is. Good wash it was. I actually found my very first nugget in this wash years ago dry washing. Washed round half gram slug looked just like the bottom nugget but slightly bigger. What a day that was too.

I have also found my share from the LSD "area" that has that look and color. Unfortunately I was too busy to even get out to hunt this time, but there were a bunch of nice nuggets found as this outing... I think 3.2 grams or so was the biggest and found by Doc.

Not desert gold but just "up stream" from the Gold Discovery Site in California, newest claim, another 20 acres. Always love finding boot tacks. Puts me right in the old miners footsteps. GB 2 sniffed this out of very loose dirt on a steep bank. Would have been in the bottom of the drainage with a couple of more rain storms.
