LowPoint Posted July 25, 2017 Share Posted July 25, 2017 It doesn't look to me to be petrified wood, ....but, did you find this anywhere near or around any Indian ruins, or somewhere where Indian artifacts had been found?? I have found smoother-worked-stones like yours here in Arizona over the years. These where used to smooth-out the inside (and outside as well) of still-damp pottery (pots). Sort of like a trowel.
