TomH
Playing with the macro lens today and took a pic of a specie that Boulderdash gave me at the outing. The camera really brings out what you can see that well with the naked eye. Pretty cool piece with some blue tipped crystals of some sort. Keep clicking on the pic to make it big. Tom H. Andyy
That *is* cool Tom. Now we all need to get macro lenses to make our gold look massive. I have to admit, most of my gold just looks so much better when I take a picture of it. There is also an android APP that is free called Best Magnifying Glass. Takes real nice close up pictures that you can then take a screenshot of.
Swampstomper Al
Good depth-of-field usage there, Tom.. Really makes the Au pop..! Nice of BD to lay that specie on you too.. Who knew it would photograph so well..?! Swamp
TomH
Swamp...small aperture=,more depth. Was at 22 on the aperture, slow shutter and some LED Light from the side. Had to set the timer to take it. I dont fiddle around with the colors. Might give it a bump on the sharpness, but thats about it. Seems like a matte blue back ground works good for this stuff. Just monkeying around Tom H. Edited November 20, 2016 by TomH
