devilishjim
Verizon has the widest coverage but depending on where you stop you want to type in zip code and see if they have a good signal there IMHO AT&T would be 2nd
Hoser John
Verizon is great BUT I use a old school flip phone as both digital and analog so where 1 doesn't get a signal the other mode kicks in and like magic connections almost anywhere. Try THAT with these hi falutin smart phones as all digital hahahaha-John

homefire
If you just want a photo to talk and text with Trac Phones work any place with Verizon coverage. You can get one for like $5 and $10.00 most times. $15.00 or so other times. Depends on the coodiments.
Morlock
Hi Can you guys get coverage at Gold Basin?
Sonoran Dave
As others have said already get Verizon. Prepaid is affordable and yes it works great at GB. Loaded several pics to facebook from there. Don't know about the other carriers. Everyone I know using other carriers loses signal long before I do. Morlock
Thanks Dave From looking at the various carrier maps, I couldn't tell if Gold Basin was covered or not.
Sonoran Dave
No problem. The only time I used it was at the main campsite on white elephant wash and it worked fine there. 2-3 bars of 4g.
Swampstomper Al
There's a previous thread on here somewhere from maybe a couple years ago asking the same thing you are, and at that time it was Verizon hands down.. Swamp
