Yes, camping permits are needed for the camp area.

It will be like the other outings before and we will supply the main course, Gonna talk Dave into frying a turkey and Tammy and I will do 2 roasts in the smoker one pork and one beef.

Everyone should bring a side dish to share and beer, pop, tea, coffee, paper plates, napkins, and the whole shebang....

Dinner is at 4:30 sharp on Saturday afternoon

OK Bill ... I sure understand ... maybe I will be able to put off leaving for NH until Sunday and at least do the day on Saturday! I would miss that that end cut of the smoked pork if I don't! LOL! Gotta look into the start dates of the NH gun whitetail season!

TomH or Old Tom, will you be getting a group camping permit again this year ?  If so, there will be at least 3 of us that would like to get on it. Thanks, John.

I'am with Frank c on this, what's a permit?

While visiting/camping or any other recreational activity on Arizona State Trust Lands a Recreational Permit is required,

This permit now is available online, here's a link to the permit page.

AuSeeker is correct.  It is now online and very easy to do.  Go to the bottom of his link - hit Agree and Pay and follow the instructions.

It doesn't matter if you are from out of state.  You will still need the permit.

You might also be good if you have a hunting permit.  Usually this works as well.  But then you can't bring the family.   :(

We will be getting an individual permit this year so we can use it all year long instead of just for the camp out.
