I was invited to hunt some patented ground recently. First wash I hit was definitely gold bearing. While I was recovering my first piece of trash I noticed several (10) small fines on and around bedrock. 10 ft in front of there I saw my first hand stacked old timer wall. I guess they missed one because I beeped my first piece there. After that the wash shallowed up quite a bit and I started hitting nuggets all over the place. Strange thing was it was only about 3 trash to 1 gold ratio. After about 300 ft and 38 nuggets the gold stopped.

Oh, come on man..... !!!    :2mo5pow:

You're going to try to tell us that after 38 nuggets you couldn't stick around and squeak a couple more out ?!?!?!?!

Why not just make it an even 40?

Nice gold, boulder dash !!  :4chsmu1:

Had to wet my shirt about 6 times to keep from overheating.

I use the wet the shirt technique, works pretty good! Great haul

Geez BD ... ONLY 38 nuggets ... you couldn't get an even number like 40? ... it would have only been two more! ... You slacker! LOL! Nice job! :thumbsupanim
