Strapped
I know you all have seen a million of those Mohave Desert basalt rocks with all the little holes in them. Today, in the rain, at Franconia I learned why nature put those little holes in those big rocks. Snake watering holes!

Strapped
I was hoping the meteorite Gods would smile on me for putting in so many miles in the rain and reveal a 2 kg space rock! They didn't. I was skunked. I left early because it was really raining hard a few miles to the north so I thought the washes may start running and I didn't want to get stranded.
