azdigger
Got out this morning and took my Explorer XS for a little walk, found the usual trash , nails , screws and the ever present pull tab. I got a reading, was deeper than everything else so I dug it up...out of the dirt popped a pocket watch. Turned out to be only the case but still. I got it home and washed it inside there was writing it said KEYSTONE 18% nickel base metal and had a serial number of 556108 Also has initials...still trying to make them out. According to research it was made from 1902 to 1930.....not bad for a hunted area.
mn90403
Exactly! I found a case in LSD last year. It was a bit older than yours but a neat find. Congratulations.
spa in nv
Neat find. I found one here in Carson City last year at a small park in the middle of town. Did some research and found out the park was the homesite of a watchmaker in the late 1800's early 1900's.
Hoser John
I sure miss the CC as I had many great times, found great relics, a little gold and ladies galore hahaha great spot in the 80s to be single. John
