GeoJack
I'm guessing sandstone and granite. This will tell you.http://www.minsocam.org/msa/collectors_corner/id/rock_key.htm#schist
d_day
The pits in the egg shaped stone are reminiscent of fossilized coral, but the size is all wrong for that. The stone's composition screams granite so that further rules out the coral. I think you've got a couple fairly ordinary river rocks there. 4meter
I agree with d_day, these are river rock; pic # 1,2 & 6 looks to be a Gneiss and pics 3-5 looks like a garnetic Gneiss (metamorphic rock types). The dimples seen in # 3-5 are the partially weather garnets. So that I remain predictable , where did you find these stones Unitedstatesofamerica1? I'm guessing somewhere in Pennsylvania?
