How long will you be there? Donna and I are going in a little over a week. We are going to the Quartzite detector hunt and do some dry washing and detecting on their club claims. John

UPS! Heck! FedEx and even the Postal service aren't this slow!

I got the skinny on that a few years ago from one of their drivers, shep..

At Christmas time, following whatever their "guaranteed delivery for Xmas" cutoff date is, everything not

shipped Overnight, Next Day or 2nd day delivery gets shoved into a corner wherever it happens to be,

for them to get caught up on after the holiday..

At that time online ordering wasn't even a thing yet, so I can't even really imagine what it's like today..

My experience was with a medium-sized box of records shipped standard ground shipping out of

central CA on 16 Dec and it showed up here 17 Jan..

Not bad time, for a bicycle delivery service..

And don't forget Shep. They have to butcher an extra cow for a pair of boots for you.

I hate tracking! Boots came today. Fitted with inserts, brace fits my foot in them and TH packed, trucked fueled and alarm set. I'm a Happy Dog!

Shep, will you be camped where you usually go ? I think it is over by the pipeline road. We will see if we can find you just to say hi when we come next week. John

At Tom Wells Road...turn south. They usually camp about 1/4 mile down and in to the west of the dirt road

Just look for the camp with all the American flags flying :)

Tom H, thanks for the info. Last year we went south and then turned left (east) and ended up about 3 to 5 miles back into the mountains before giving up.
