Troyball 0
As many of you that I have hunted with in the past know, I have moved to Grand Junction, CO. I do a ton of hiking here and there are some great cold hunting areas in Western Colorado and Eastern Utah. I was out for a couple of hours this morning and I thought I would show a couple of pictures of the type of terrain I have here to hunt. There are better looking spots a bit further West into Utah, but it is low desert and getting to hot to hunt there until next fall. One of these days, never know. Just might find one out there somewhere Troy

fredmason 1,135
Nice country. Nice gopher snake. That country reminds me a pic of my Grand dad and his boys herding cattle somewhere in Colorado...Are there lots of surface rocks there?fred
Troyball 0
Fred, no, there are no rocks on the surface in this area. Must be an area approx. 5 miles by 4 miles. However, this area does get some snow during the winter. Further west in the desert it is not unlike the Mojave. Will start hunting that area in a couple of months.
