Jeff. That's until 4:00 PM, then it's a Mason Jar, remember?

looked at my post... fingers faster then my brain. That's not hard to do.

I am thinking about a GB2 and wanted to hear one to make sure I can hear the sound change as it finds a target.

Could not hear my minelab 18000.

azdigger, my long time friend and prospecting buddy Art had just bought a Gold Bug 2 when he passed away last March. His wife, Lydia, will be bringing it to the outing to sell along with a drywasher and a few other items. John

Have it on my calendar, but where do I sign up at. Can e-mail me at aujackgraham@yahoo.com. Looking forward to using my GB2 and getting some tips.

Jack, no sign up to speak of, just the POLLS which I see you have a responded too and then show up at the outing.

Depends on if there is any bedrock. I brake for bedrock..

BD, there's always bedrock anywhere you go, it's just a matter of how deep you have to go too get to it!! :brows:

Is anyone going to have a Cold Bug 2 at the outing, I will be there on Sat and would like to hear one go over a test nugget.

I want to see if I can hear it. Some of the old minelabs (VLF) I can not hear a sound

I am fighting one now (cold bug 2) hope to be over it, before the outing.

All kidding aside, there will be a few gold bug detectors including our 2 you are welcome to use on to test with if you wan to..

Thanks, I have made a deal to buy one from one of the folks that will be there. I am going to come out on Friday and then return on Sat to spend the day prospecting and visiting.

Bill,or someone local, with all the rain that it sounds like you are getting, how will Gold Basin be for dry washing ? I am wondering if the ground will be too wet during the outing. Oh well, there will be plenty of time to try to find my first nugget with a detector. Thanks for any info, John.

Way to wet here in Central AZ, guessing the same in the NW

John , live in Golden Valley and that is about 60 miles from Gold Basin.

We got some rain - about 3/4 inch so it might be OK. I will let you know how the ground dries out as time gets closer.

Forecast Highs will be in the mid 60's to low 70's and lows in the 40's for that weekend.
