Boulderdash should of had a patent

Recommended Posts

I decided to join the crowd after seeing Tom's D11 the other day in LSD. I did a little bit different design with the parts I had on hand but, my kids and I used it today drywashing and it worked great. Thank again Boulderdash for the great idea.

Blake...can you get the ass out of the hole??? I feel sorry for him :)
Nice job on the D-11

Did have to take some ibuprofen to fix the kink in my neck from looking at it.

You sure wiped that out fast. Must have some BMFR skills to do that.

Just remember to give it a rest so you don't overheat the end and loose the temper.

Or is it you overheat and loose your temper...im over thinking this....

Welcome to the gopher club!

Sorry my photos are sideways every stinking time I post. I'm a rookie at post images.

Hold your phone sideways with the camera button on the right side...Then pics will come out right side up.

Long handle is a great idea... DOesn't look like hickory, though.

I'd break it. But I'm rough on tools.

Might be ash Maybe the best piece of Ash he's ever had :)

I'm new at this....but maybe you could taper and/or turn down the end of an axe handle. Would that be too short? or heavy....

Blake I just put a new handle on my hermit pick ... used a straight shovel handle. Got it at Tractor Supply ... USA Hickory. I didn't shorten the handle now that I have the GPZ. That thing forces deep holes and that long handle keeps me off my knees just a little longer.

Mike that handle is good for standing up when you get down on your knees.

Old Tom ... That's the other unmentioned reason for the longer handle ... my knees are getting weaker for sure and long sessions with knees on the ground make it even more difficult to get up. One of these days I will be seen leaving the gold fields walking on my knees because I couldn't get up! :) Probably would help if I dropped another 20-30 pounds too! :old:
