possibly. MOst gold is bound up in other minerals and takes much processing to isolate.

Nuggets are rare. I'm sure it's less that 1% of gold is in that form.

Little blurry, but it looks like you have some schist/ quartz / galena( lead ore) and possibly muscovite/mica- wash your hands

What weav said. Looks like schist with quartz intrusions. Maybe a little greenstone thrown in too. Look at your samples under magnification, free gold may be visible. If not, crush and pan it. If still no gold, then the gold is locked up chemically or not present at all. Sometimes fantastic looking veins carry no gold, unfortunately.

For crushing and panning, my experience is that ore like that without visible gold will yield one or two specks of tiny stuff tops and two incredibly sore elbows from using the mortar and pestle for hours. I like a magnifying loupe like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/171386049492?lpid=82&chn=ps to reveal gold. Even with that, the visible gold I've found after crushing and panning has amounted to two very sore elbows and a very few flakes of gold. The good thing about a loupe like that is it has a UV light that will reveal fluorescent colors.

I've never had any samples assayed, which could reveal something different, but that leads to a whole other level of gold recovery that's way out of my league.

I do the crush and pan my samples. I do have more samples than I can process. Then I foget where I found them.

I have a sample in the dog dish by the door trying to remember where I picked it up from.

well i am smashing up my hand and a real heavy rock. The rock wont bust apart just barely chippin layers of the outside and compacting the stone tighter and tighter.I have never hit a rock so many times.anyways I put some threw a screen thing .

trying to pan it in the lid to a big can about an inch deep.there is alot of floaty stuff so i put some hand soap in it,

now I got smegma on top ,I am not cutt out for this stuff.do I want to wash away the coating on the top.Wish I had a pan.

I took some more blurry images Ill put on here.I need help with this ,I dont even deal ,with this dealing with it .

I have a bunch of questions that I dont remember right now, like does the roasting process . refine the same stuff that

aqua regia?refines.and nugget bob why did you say to wash my hands ?should I not have that stuff get in an open cut?

and does anyone know an assayer or metalclurholio guy in north phoenix :)I also included 2 blurry pictures of the smegma. If this stuff pans out I would want to donate it to a situation for kids.

I would really like to join a digging deep quik competition.with my special tool and technique. :)

I probably seem like a kook or maybe ,I just feel like one,Am I the only wanna be to roll threw here.

I really dont care about any pay off I just need to succeed at finding a new huge supply right under everyones feet so I can prove there can be no set record where stuff is at.new stuff is surfacing daily.

Not alot of people are looking for the ugly stuff that theres alot of everyone and me wants the nuggs.eh?

YOU could call around to local jewelers and prospecting shops gleaned from your local yellow pages.

XRF is a 15$ test ,more, if you want them to crush it to powder- then test- but then you get an in-depth elemental analysis (instead of just an indicator of just what's on the surface). Ask the for this service (XRF)>>>>>>>>>>with no backstory :brows::4chsmu1::old::tisk-tisk::ROFL::th::4chsmu1:

I would think quite a number of them are all around you. Pawn shops , too.
