(KCRA) —A person who was panning for gold discovered a partial skull while digging through some dirt near Georgetown. The El Dorado County Sheriff's Department said the suspected human skull will be examined by experts.Deputies said the discovery was made Tuesday morning at the Bear Creek picnic area off Traverse Creek Road.Due to the skull's decomposition, deputies decided to bring in anthropologists to assist with the investigation.No other body parts were found.So who was it? Au Seeker Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 I think it was the guy at CDFG who used to issue dredging permits , they're going to keep our dredges out of the water in California one way or another, even if we get the right to dredge back via the courts now there will be no one to issue the permits!!!
