Sonny
Hi All,I just found a company that sales lithium iron phosphate batteries located in Las Vegas, Nv. The old battery that I use on my Lorenz Deepmax 5 weighs around 4.5 pounds, the new battery is only 2.2 pounds. The only drawback is the price of $ 130.00.Sonny www.nevadameteorites.com

Sonny
Hey Garimpo,They have many different batteries. I had a UB1280 12V 8AH battery. I would find out what kind of battery you have and shoot them an email. The battery that came with mydetector had a top covering the make of battery and connection ends.Once the cover was removed I just copied it and made a new cabe with a fuse and male end that plugs into my detector.I was able to find the male plug at Radio shack.Sonny
