Au Seeker
First, I want to say that we here at NuggetShooter do not recommend that anyone try this, if you do, you do so at your own risk and personal safety!!!What would you do if you were in a survival mode situation and had no .22 ammo left to bag a squirrel for supper, but you just happen to have a few .22 pellets and out of your tool box some Ramset .22 cartridges, I say you just bagged that squirrel and you won't be hungry tonight!! homefire
I've done that with Wax balls to shoot rats in the house.

homefire
In brass casing: Color coding Velocity Grey 315 ft/s (96 m/s) Brown 385 ft/s (117 m/s) Green 490 ft/s (150 m/s) Yellow 575 ft/s (175 m/s) Red 675 ft/s (206 m/s) Purple 755 ft/s (230 m/s)This is for a Nail. It will send a Pellet down the road at about three times the rated speeds. In the Video they ram the Pellet like a BP fire arm. If you just put them in the chamber and follow with the Blank Cartrage in a bolt rifle they seat most well. homefire
A drop of oil on the pellet could make the change. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOPF_qb78_E
