inherited a few STONES? and have no clue what They are …

The first 4 pics look like septarian nodules. No sure about the next two. The two after those do look like petrified wood. Specifically, they look to be opalized wood. The last one looks like coral.

Of course it's impossible to tell with 100% certainty from these pictures.

Hi Miss Analilia,

I agree with D Day. Two of those pics look like my Arizona Petrified wood, and the last one is surely coral.

I don't know what the first specimen is. We have a big piece of the same type of coral on the vanity in the guest

bathroom - very decorative, sculptural, etc. If you don't have any interest in rocks/gems/minerals/fossils, you

can yard-sale what you don't want. I have sold many excess mineral specimens to neighborhood kids, and

turned them into life-long rockhounds.

If your dehydrated brains are septarian nodules you may want to rethink that. They are quite often filled with quartz and or calcite crystals. They often look this when cut open...
