adam
Well, It wasn`t a complete defeat. Quartzsite can be very generous , or it can be extremely challenging....Boulder dash and I stopped by the Q for a couple days.... 2 and a half days in the zone, hiking many miles, yielded a few small pieces of gold. Boulder dash did get an 8 tenth of a grammer Exploration pays off because you know where not to go next time. Boulder dash`s in the green scoop......mine in the black scoop..... mn90403
When I was at the Q Fri/Sat/Sun I saw HUGE dry wash areas and deep, deep holes. I met a few guys who don't detect any more. They run in to big nuggets on the way to the bedrock. I knocked down a few piles but there are many, many more with peaks. Maybe ...

I typed in tourist destinations and nothing is coming up. Would it be under amusement parks?

boulder dash
Indeed a challenging weekend and can't wait to do it again. Hit 6 nuggets the last day in tom wells area so anyone going this weekend know there are a few still out there.
Ahorton10
I got the stinky ol skunk in the vultures today. Mostly just cruised back roads though. The skunk is getting old, I think it's time to retire the detector for a bit and find some gold haha
