rockhoundlounge
I have always been fascinated by the fact that such wonderful and beautiful things can be found in the earth. So rockhounding was a natural inclination of mine. I wanted to document, share, and educate others on how to find minerals and how they look before being cleaned, acid treated, and put behind a showcase. The reality is that many specimens look completely different before being cleaned up and as they are in the ground. Here's a few adventures of mine where I take you on location and show you how they look in situ.Wake County, NCChatham County, NCGraves Mountain, GAWake County, NC
