Au Seeker
I have never heard of anyone tumbling crystals, but I have seen some who "re-faceted/re-pointed" crystals and then polished the facets.
sarahrose
The pieces I have are not jewelry worthy, they are broken pieces/ shards that are just yard rocks.... Very pretty yard rocks, but I wanted to know if it would break them apart in the tumbling process. And yes... They are all quartz pieces/crystals from Diamond Point AZ
Au Seeker
All the rough edges should smooth out and depending on how long you tumble them you should end up with rounded smooth polished pieces, quartz is really hard so it may take a good bit of tumbling to get desired results but it should be about the same as tumbling any rock only harder than most.
