Change to Ca. mining regs?

Recommended Posts

Is there any truth about several changes (more restrictions) to Ca. mining

regs, either already taken place this year, or about to for 2014? :idunno:

I haven't heard anything really specific, but maybe about dredging,

sluicing, and other prospecting because of low water flows. :89:

Also a little chatter about a new "Gold Rush".

This is a message from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, North Coast Region (1).

The purpose of this message is to reiterate to interested persons that North Coast Regional Water Board (Regional Water Board) staff is soliciting input on the triennial review process. Regional Water Board staff initiated the 2014 triennial review process for the Basin Plan in January 2014 and originally solicited recommendations for the Triennial Review at that time.

In order to solicit input from the public on priority issues recommended for consideration during the 2014 Triennial Review process, staff-led public meetings were held April 8, 2014 in Santa Rosa and April 9, 2014 in Redding. These workshops were noticed separately.
