Alaska 1980

Yo All... Here's a photo I just found in a box that shows me and my two mining partners "at the end of the road" in Circle City, AK ... We were up assessing a group of mining claims for a Swiss company on Preacher Creek ... The trip was pretty much a blur ... We sat around Anchorage and Fairbanks waiting for the weather to clear for nearly 3 weeks ... Fat wallets and good connections and half of Peru, by weight, in our nostrils!!! ... Glad we made it through that ... That's me on the left and the Yukon in the background ... Cheers, Unc

Unc,

we might have crossed paths. I was in Alaska the summer of 1980. Didn't we play poker one night at Whitehorse, Yukon Territory about the end of May?

What a hoot it was. I'll have to see if I can find the pictures.
