Steve Herschbach
Here is a closeup of a 1.7 gram specimen I found recently near Winnemucca, NV with my White's GMT. This and a few other pieces are my first Nevada gold! The GMT is excellent on gold like this that PI detectors have a hard time seeing. Fun time!Steve Herschbachhttp://www.detectorprospector.com

Micro Nugget
Resembles an old style fancy, heavily embroidered Chinese shoe. Congrats on finding this beautiful specimen!

Relichunter2
Beautiful..a nice balance of gold and quartz...congrats.
Steve Herschbach
I soaked it in Whink 48 hours to remove some rust staining. Whink is such weak HF it would have taken a lot longer to affect the quartz appreciably though it may has frosted the crystals a bit. Trailblazer
That's beautiful !! Enjoyed reading your article on "It's Hard to Find Gold" .. I agree.. prospecting is a way of life and the difficulty makes it all the more fun and exciting!
Relichunter2
Can't agree with you more TB...it is a life style that's rewarding in so many ways. Searching for the gold is as much fun as finding it. I also read Steves article in the ICMJ, and it say as it is..it's an accurate analysis on nugget-hunting. skunked
Really? your getting gold at Mujaba? What are you using? I just recently spent three days out there with two of us, and all we found was a bunch of wire, and some misc. junk. PM me if you feel like giving me the T&R you were in.
